Playtime for Amos and Tony
Amos and Tony are research dogs enjoying their playtime in the hallway outside of their housing room. They are roommates and love to play with their toys and their caregivers. Amos's favorite activity is playing with his toy while Tony prefers to simply explore. Some research facilities have outdoor opportunities, others have indoor playrooms, and others, like this one, offer play opportunities in hallways or other areas of the research facility. Environmental enrichment like playtime is an important aspect of making sure that research animals experience the best quality of life possible while in the lab.
